If there was ONE word to describe today,
It would be 'amazing'.
As in, SARCASTIC 'amazing'.
First off,
It rained.
Not very good,
Considering the fact that I had to go
for Friday Prayers.
Second,
the mosque
was eff-ing crowded
at 12.50.
Right.
Third,
I had to stash my bag and shoes
Somewhere under shelter.
Let's just say I could have picked a better place
To put 'em.
Fourth,
I found my socks wet after prayers,
Stepped on by countless stinkin' feet.
There goes the socks.
And lemme tell ya,
Wearin' VANS shoes
without socks
Is like eating something
without tasting it.
Finally,
Just before I could contact the guys
to find the meeting place
So we could go to the IT show,
My phone gave up on me.
I figured, hey, maybe the battery's dead.
And when I got home to try and recharge it,
there it was, responding normally
As if nothing happened!
Cell phones and women DO have something in common after all.
Guess the IT show's out of the question.
