ALAMAK.
Okay, quick post.

I do NOT have the film and batteries needed for Photography tutorial tomorrow.

I am NOT getting a single thing that has been gone through in lectures so far.

I am SCARED that I am NOT getting anything from lectures so far.

I seem to be spending TOO much money for my own good.

I am DEAD TIRED from Samba practices that have been going on since last week.

I need some sleep.

Benny Lava!

I just HAD to share this. It's amazing what Bollywood music directors can come up with! XD

By the way, Benny Lava RULES. And it may take some time to load, but be patient. It's WELL worth it. =D

'Sup, Dini!
Seems like I've been going to my aunt's place a LOT these days. So far, it's been TWO times this week. It's pretty much a LOT.

But I don't really mind, 'cos I'll get to see...*Drum Roll* Le' Amazing DINI!

Can't get enough of this little bundle of joy. In fact, I've been over there SO many times, that she's starting to recognise my face. It's an amazing feat for babies, believe me.

On another note, this Saturday (Or last Saturday...) is THE last time I'm following anyone into the Dorothy Perkins store branch in Plaza Singapura. (-_-) Bluddy queues at the damn dressing room; having to wait outside for nearly an hour.

Never again. Pfft.

At least I got something out of the trip there. Spent a whole $75.90 on a 500-piece Bionicle accessory set! Although I was partially disappointed with its contents (Some essential parts weren't there, not because the product was defective.)

I can't wait for the Hellgate: London Launch Event that's gonna be held at Funan this Thursday! THE most revolutionary game, possibly. I think it could easily beat Shadowrun, in terms of graphics probably. I mean, c'mon, who wouldn't want to be a holy marksman out to get the heads of demonic denizens sprouting from that hellhole that is London?

Which reminds me, anybody care to update on the details of this Saturday that is our raya outing with THE Dunmanites? Hmm? Ah well.

Comment tu' tapelle?
So today was the first French tutorial of THE semester. Very 'interesting', to say the least.

Well, for one, the letter 'Y' is pronounced "ee-grek" in French. Don't ask me why. I don't know either. XD

I've been feeling dead-tired this past few days since the start of school. Must be the practices for the Samba performance coming up for Temasek Poly's 'Viva The Arts!'. It's gonna go up on the 9th of November, and I got tickets for 'em. So if anybody wants to get 'em (hint hint), you could always come to me. =D Of course, you'd have to know me first. Ah well, nobody said entertainment was an easy business to get into.

Raya outing with the ex-Dunmanites is coming up this 3rd November. Can't wait for that either. XD

On another note, I'm starting to get interested in Gol & Gincu. =S

Okay, edited portion. Ian's latest post reminded me of my OWN dream that I had in the early morn. So it started off with partially-erotic scene which involved a blonde German girl. Yeah, it's getting REAL cold. I can't seem to recall what she looked like, however. Weird.

Somehow, the scene got switched to one involving my father making a diorama of the woods; like dusting some kind of magnetic-dust which would form the leaves on the oak trees. Then, when he's done, he somehow drives a helicopter into the middle of the diorama he just created...and it blows up. Sucking everything into a whirling blue-pink vortex, until nothing remained.

Then the dream switched to me looking for a rib bone amidst a myriad of dinosaur fossils which matched its structure. Yes, I'm JUST as clueless. And then I wake up to the light of day. End of dream.

Something tells me the part with the blonde German girl should have continued a bit longer. Hey, if you had experienced it, you'd think the same way too. (Except if you were a girl, because it would be just plain...wrong.) XD

Infinity.
Anger personified.
"Hell Hath no Fury", they say.
This was nothing.
Nothing like it.

Shards.
Screams.
Denial.
Oblivious to all
Oblivious.

Her eyes,
a screaming azure blue
Ablaze with the flame
Of rumours
Of lies.

Till they could see no more.
Past her own mind,
That padded room.
Hands bound to her sides.
Reliving that very moment,
Her humanity was lost.

Harry Rehya.
AHHHHHHHHH!!!

Today was AWESOME. As promised, the TPLatinos went out for their first ever RAYA OUTING.
XD
Well, MY first ever with these people, at least. We all met at Tampines MRT at 10, only for it to be dragged till 11 because the DAMN MPV was late. And yes, we managed to rent a Multi-Purpose Vehicle for the whole day, which set us back at around $100. Not bad, considering 14+ people came along for the ride. =P

From Tampines, we travelled ALLLLLL the way to Bukit Batok to our first house, Izzat's. The taxi ride cost us $20, mind you.The previous taxi we hired apparently DIDN'T know the way to Bukit Batok. (-_-) I mean, seriously, you ARE a taxi driver for a reason. Shouldn't you be familiar with the way to Bukit Batok? Isn't it supposed to be like part of your

JOB DESCRIPTION;

to know the way to your customer's destination?

From there, we travelled ALLLLL the way BACK down, to Punggol. Another $20. Pokkai lah aku cam gini. Saufi's house was REAL cosy, plus he had TWO cats. Com' ere, kitty, kitty.

Then on towards Andika's house in Sengkang; not TOO far away. (-_-) After that, Razis' place in Pasir Ris; surprisingly near to Loyang Point. Next up was MY place. =d

We couldn't decide on what to serve our guests, so we finally got to pasta.

Some

ASS

bought all of the spaghetti at Shop N' Save, so pasta it is. It got surprisingly good reviews, though.

Then we headed to Ibrahim's place, somewhere near to my madrasah. We toyed around with his

ELECTRIC DRUM SET

a little before we headed to Aisha's (or is that Aisyah? I never know...) place for some exceptionally good mee goreng. After that, we got to Liyana's place where we got to see her two cats. Yes,

TWO.

The orange tabby, called 'Merah' (*groan*), was practically a speeding bullet AND anti-social all bundled up into one CUTE package. Off to Ila's for some 'Armageddon' action before we headed to Bambang's for some

AWESOME
NASI
JAGUNG.

Yeah, I've never HEARD of Nasi Jagung before in my life before this moment.

Finally (At least, for me.), we headed to Faezah's place. Possibly the highlight of my day, Faezah also happens to be the sister to the actor who portrays the little bro of the groovy-haired character in 'Danielle'! Yeah, I forgot his name; so sue me. He IS that short in person. Lol. I just had to. =P

Man, has my body gone

BUST

or what? XD

Halo-ed
So Ian and I just had this 'marvelous' conversation on MSN just now. Apparently we came to discuss about what'll happen if there were to be a World War 3 with the aliens from Halo as the primary antagonist, and what we'll do. See for yourself:

Of Ketupats and Beef Rendang.
Oh boy.
In approximately 2 hours and 50 minutes, the month of forgiving shall dawn upon us all.

Syawal.

Pardon me if I'm not that psyched up about tomorrow. After all, it IS the day where we get PLENTY of green packets (I hope), and eat lots of my favourite foods (Lontong with dollops of Sambal Kacang...Mmmmm). Plus, it marks the end of fasting. (Yes!)

I don't know, Hari Raya's just lost that kind of...'hype' for me. I remember those years when the whole of the maternal side of the family would rent a bus for the day and we'd all go around visiting relatives, most of whom I don't even know but DEFINITELY recognize. I mean, that WAS a sure-fire way of getting TONNES of moolah on just one day! Why, I'd think we would visit around 13-15 houses alone on a good day!

But it's just not the same anymore. Everybody else's got somewhere else to go. Eldest cousin's at camp, 2nd eldest cousin's got a family of her own; We're all just going...our separate ways. What happened, really...?

To top it all off, I am DREADING the trip to my paternal grandparents' house tomorrow. Besides the fact that I'll be going ALONE, I virtually be void of any conversational shield against the rest of my relatives. Usually I had parents to do that. I can't speak to these people! They're not used to me talking to them! So there you go; 1001 reasons NOT to go to your grandparents' house on Hari Raya.

Well, that doesn't mean I'm not gonna enjoy Hari Raya AT ALL. There's the Samba Raye Outing to look forward to. =) Oi Faseha, time biler dah...?

Oh yeah, I'm not posting any pics for the Mind Cafe thing 'cos I only took ONE. So there.

On a particularly forgiving note, I wish all Muslims in this whole FRICKIN' wide world a

SELAMAT HARI RAYA!

MAAF ZAHIR DAN BATIN...

(And to my fellow friends and acquaintances; you know who you are,

You get an extra special SELAMAT HARI RAYA!
Nah. Take it.)

Rat-a-tat-tat.
OH-EM-GEE.

Damn, un-freakin'-believable.

THE PERFORMANCE WAS AWESOME!!!!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

You should have seen it; everything went uber-smoothly...(except for that switch-a-roo part. Ah well...). It was held at Auditorium 2 at freaking 10 in the MORNING!

(-__-)

I was expecting a larger audience though; the seats were only HALF-filled. Still, not that bad for a first performance. At least we got applause from everyone. XD

Since the performance itself was pretty short (Around 2 minutes, I believe), we went back to 'HQ' pretty unfulfilled. At least, I was.

Then, we all started freestyling!!! OH-EM-GEE x INFINITY. We recalled certain popular Hari Raya songs and put a little of our Samba FLAVA into it! HOW AWESOME IS THAT?!?!? You just HAD to be there to experience it. =D

Before that, however, it was the ritual Taking-of-the-Photos session. HAHAH.
Lots of laughs to be had, I tell you. By the way, I'm just trying out the Picasa web slide-show thingamajig, so just bear with me if it doesn't turn out alright. (^_^)"

Badda-bing
Of Suerdos and pseudo-power slides. Tomorrow (Or TODAY. It's exactly 1:08 a.m on my clock) will be the day of reckoning.

All those darn hours of practising will all come down to this...

The moment, where you MAKE it, or BREAK it...

CUT THE MELODRAMA!

Thank You. Performance day's tomorrow. Hope it all goes well. 'Nuff said.

La Di Das and Poopsticks.
Yesterday was THE 1st of October...
A.k.a Ian's Birthday, the day when the legal age for purchasing cigarettes raised from 16 to 18 in England, Wales and Scotland., bla bla bla XD

So the plan was...there WAS no plan! HAHAH! We kinda just made it up as we went along.

The FIRST part of the plan was to meet up with the others at Tampines Mall...at 4.30pm. I waited there for ONE hour...I REPEAT: ONE FREAKIN' HOUR, PEOPLE. And still no one came. Why, I must've contemplated the mysteries of life during that hour...then lost all memory of it. Gosh people, do deadlines mean ANYTHING?!? Damn.

When they finally came ('They' being Praba, Kwok and Dawn), we headed off to the bakery near Tampines MRT and bought Mango Mousse Cake. (As if we didn't have enough of it already in school) Apparently, $25.00 for a half-kilo cake is a reasonable price...hmm...

By the time we got to Downtown East to meet the others, it was almost time to break-fast. Ah well... I expected to get there at 6.30 LATEST. But SOME people had to come an HOUR late!!!!
GAH!

Apparently Pasir Ris Park didn't seem to have its electricity bills paid so...3/4 of the time we spent there were in total (Okay, maybe not) darkness, surrounded by fellow park...'patrons'.

So here are the pics. Enjoy, losers. XD

Yes, apparently sparklers WERE that funny.

"Duh, are these things supposed to be doing THAT?" Dawn, Dawn...Kwok and his All-Purpose Mighty Flaming Whip of Ultimate and Inevitable DOOM! *screams*
Me and my flaming spring. Good times.
The birthday boy getting splattered by his own cake. YOU HAD IT COMING, MAN! HAHAH!

OUR attempt at making a sparkler rocket. It fizzled. Literally.

On a final note, dude, welcome to the swelling ranks of 17-year-OLDs EVERYWHERE. XD

Ingrates.
Living Otherworldly

Woozy.
Restless, the air in the joints.
Stifling.
Wait, could he even move?

This grainy substance, wet
Mossy.
A familiar scent wafted through his nasal cavity.
Rain, maybe?

He rose,
Past the compacted...dirt;
Yes, that word was familiar to him,
As if it were some ethereal silk

In some form of twisted reversal,
His body impacted with such force
The ground shook with unimaginable ferocity.
The light

The questions.
Who is thy God?
What is thy Religion?
Who are thy Relations?

Pounding,
Pounding,
Till, he could speak no longer.

Oh, the regret.
