Journal-istic
I'm here now at 2.47 a.m. on Thursday MORNING.

Whoop-tie doo for me.

SO we birthday bash-ed Faseha today after Samba training. Needless to say, she got it REAL bad. Let's just say it involved a lot of wet flour...and cake. Lots of it.

Pictures (or PICTURE) will be up later or something. It's way too late to transfer the pics from my phone now.

Speaking of which, I might be going to take my architecture photos tomorrow (or...today.) after French class. Can't wait for that. Architecture shoots are way cool. Buildings have...that kind of appeal to city slickers like me which nature doesn't really possess.

Arrggghh....myflashfetish.com, or should I say, FileDen, doesn't accept files with the .wma format. That means I can't upload the remastered version of Augustana's Feel Fine.

Damn.

Meanwhile, I (and you guys.) can enjoy the swaying tunes of Indonesia's PeterPan with their song Ku Katakan Dengan Indah, or, loosely translated, 'I Say With Beauty'.

I know, it don't make sense in English but it makes perfect sense in Malay. It was featured in one of those mass-produced Indo-dramas, Hantu Jatuh Cinta or 'Ghost Falling In Love'. Sad, the trailer on Suria looked promising. Too bad the lead 'heroine' can do nothing but take shit from her evil stepmother and cry whenever she gets beatun up, sad, angry etc. I mean, ever heard of 'versatility', little missy?

I think not.

That ends today's post. Dreamland's a-calling, along with that Blonde German girl.

I'm kidding! Gawd.

Menage e trois.
Nothing beats a real deep talk between good ol' pals. Especially a talk regarding something both of you have in common. Namely, relationships, Or, in this case, the lack THEREOF.

Sigh, the joys and troubles of bachelorhood.

Thanks, Imran.

p.s. It was EXCELLENT! *does air guitar move*

FOTOGRAFI. XD
Oh yeah...

1st photography assignment's due tomorrow and I am feeling GOOD! =D

It just so happened that a picture perfect moment opened up and I seized the opportunity. It was like the tree was waiting for its portrait to be eternally captured on one of man's artificial memories a.k.a. film. The roots, the trunk...all perfectly arranged and aligned, ready for the closing of the shutter.

Photography has changed me people. And I mean CHANGED. XD

Too bad the photographs are all on film, so I can't show it to you guys just yet. I do though have some pics I took at the Botanic Gardens with my digicam. Have a look-see, will ya?

I tell you this WAS just there on top of a tree stump. I swear it looked like abstract art in the middle of the Orchid Gardens.

I'd love to show more but the Blogger image uploader is being a bitch right now with its slow speed. Maybe later. XD

Bleh.
Gosh, I KNOW I haven't been posting for ages. And by ages, I mean a WEEK. Hellgate: London has been grabbing AND keeping all of my attention. And I LIKE it. XD

Okay, so quick post here before my mom yells one more time "Hafeez, get to !@#$ing bed!"
So maybe she doesn't use vulgarities. SO sue me.

Just went to Eastpoint earlier to develop the film for my photography assignment. Damn, an 8R print costs $4. Total extortion, I tell you.

While we were there, lo and behold, Taufik Batisah was holding a launch-cum-album signing event in the main staging area. That WAS a surprise, but I kinda thought my mom KNEW it was being held there. Ah well, nice surprise anyway. So ladies, didn't take any pics NOR did I buy his new album. Is it really the old album translated in Malay, or is it a completely new one? Hmmm.

There she goes again. Adios people, before I get another earful. XD

VIVA THE ARTS!!!
Enough of that bullshit for now. Let's focus on the brighter side of life.

So the TPLatinos performance went up on Friday evening. WHOOPIE! I'm telling you, going up there was as exhilirating for me as would be for the audience. Glad you guys enjoyed it! (I read the responses...Tee hee.)

Oh well, Faseha posted up the video of the two items we put up. Here we come now...

Our first item. We called it the Samba-rang...like, sembarang kinda thing, you know. So yeah. I'm the guy in number 78, by the way. XD

Our second item, which I'm sure blew the audiences away. I remember they called it Carnivale Fiesta. Saufi BLEW the crowd away at the start, making way for things to come. NICE ONE! Nothing like being in a Samba band, man. I wish I was in the Latin band too, though. They make equally groovin' music.

Altogether, a groovin' night. And, yep, thanks to Ian, Dawn, Prabs and Amalina for comin' down that night. Gives my music a whole new meaning. Really.

Feelin' Raya-ish...NOT.
Yesterday was THE day...the day them Dunmanites came out and conquered Pasir Ris and Tampines in one fell swoop.

The day Hari Raya came down upon us. HAHAH.

So let me get down a list of names down here first: There's me, Hadi, Hazim, Jamil, Hidayat, Imran, Sharizal, Jannah, Shahirah, Lynn, Nadz, Aishah (or is that Aisyah? Hmm...), Ain, Nadia, Masita and Faezah. Did I miss anybody? I hope not. XD

Basically, it was a whole LOAD of people. So you could imagine the bus rides to different people's houses. Very loud, and very uber fun. Suffice to say, this year was a lot better than last year's. That's 'cos I could interact with the others a whole lot better this year than before. I guess poly's does a lot to a person's character. I mean, I can JOKE with these people now, as compared to before, where a conversation was hard enough. Yes, HARD. And yeah, I did notice that they treated me in a whole new different way. I hope we could have another one next year, guys. I really do.

So up go the pics.

Lynn's mom made this TIRAMISU CAKE. It was LIQUID HEAVEN, I tell you. The amount of coffee was just right, and the cream was eff-ing luscious and complimented the biscuit base. Damn, it was good. I was considering getting the recipe from her mom. XD Apparently it was made in conjunction with the birthdays of the October babies; Hazim, Shiffa and Shahirah. All but Shiffa could be there, so...

There's Mr Hadi Yadiy trying out his moves on MY dance mat. Yes, I do have a dance mat, though it wasn't my idea as it came as a bundle with my PSone. How could I refuse? Eh, bargain okay. $300 for the console, 20 games, extra controller, Memory Card, dance mat and joy-pad. To quote Borat, "Nice."

This has GOT to be THE gay-est shot in my entire ensemble, courtesy of Mr Hidayat and Miss Hadi Yadiy. XD

See, the trick in this shot is to try and "Spot the Hafeez" ! Go on, try it. I bet you'll never guess where I am. XD

The whole gang at tour final pitstop, Masita's place. There, we continued the match between Arsenal And Manchester United till it ended in a draw. Faezah a.k.a the Arsenal fan was uber pissed. I mean, who wouldn't? 2-2? Arsenal, come on. Surprisingly, this is the FIRST football match that I actually enjoyed. Let me remind you that I am SO not a football fan. Never have been. Never will be. I guess being around friends enjoying a game IS one of the joys of this world.

On a totally random note, here's a really 'self-made' post-meal pic that I took in the ITAS canteen the other day.
Surprisingly, it looked like a stem of leaves. Made it with some mayonnaise and tomato sauce. Nice.

Ad-errific!
I found some adverts the other day on one of the blogs I blog-hopped through. Kinda interesting ones, if I do say so myself. Have a look:
