Sorry, I just picked out a post title based on the first thing I saw when I turned on the telly.
That happened to be 'The Apprentice'.
Question: Is Trump's hair real or is it really a toupee?
Hmm...toughie, that one.
I'm currently playing Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth for the PSP. The game's going OK so far, but one thing I noticed off the bat - the long and UNSKIPPABLE cut-scenes. I'm like, FUCK! Just let me control some warriors and kill some frickin' monsters already! No, Jack Thompson, I do not feel the urge to re-enact in real life the violence I see in video games.
So that was one minus point already.
When it did get to the fighting, however, I wasn't disappointed. I loved how every strike was sort-of rhythm based; like success actually relied on keeping momentum. Guessed those Patapon boss fights helped out a lot, huh? Every strike was sweet eye-candy, and when it was time to unleash the devastating special attack, I was impressed by the presence of voice-acting. It was a nice touch, yes.
I'm still waiting to see if this game was worth the...ehem, 'purchase'.
Don't you just hate it when you hear a song and you wanna know the title but it's just THAT hard to find it?
Urrghh.
