Let me ask you readers something:
Have you ever gone out and tried out an activity, just for kicks...
Only to find out, 'Hey, I kinda like doing this.'...
So you expose youself to it, get involved in it on a regular basis...
You're getting to like it more, and the company around you's an added incentive...
...people who share the same interests as you!
Soon you find yourself becoming more passionate about it...
Like it's impossible to imagine life without it...
Well, have you?
Now, imagine if one day, under one circumstance or the other, you can't engage in this activity any longer.
Not because you don't want to, but something, or someone, is holding you back.
I ask you know, what do you do?
Or, more aptly, what CAN you do?
That rush...
The one you get when you perform in front of a live audience...
Among like-minded people who share the same love and passion for music as you do...
To be lost in the energy of the performance with them...
To devote your very heart and soul to the one thing you care about more than your own family...
Those precious few minutes of escapism and ecstacy, away from all the days and weeks, and months and years of troubles in this world...
Those precious few minutes...
I fear I can never get to experience that again.
