Say hello to my brand new Ibanez AEG10NE. I call her Roxie. XD Got myself a neat little package (which I had to put together myself since they didn't have any pre-existing ones) which included a gig bag, guitar strap, an Ibanez amplifier and a guitar stand. All for a cool, cool price of a little under $600 bucks.
Yeah, my pocket's crying too, but I'd like to think of it as a good investment. Helps me take my mind of the pain too. Heh.
I'm already liking the hardware; the neck is way smaller than my aunt's (her guitar I mean), and there's like a preamp included, which is pretty nifty since the guitar doesn't sound as strong by itself if say, I wanna use it in a gig situation (SUPER MASSIVE HUGE HINT). But for home noodling it'll suffice.
It's much heavier than my aunt's (Her guitar. We're still talking about her guitar here.). Maybe it's got something to do with the electronics? I don't know. Regardless, I like the sold feel of it, like I'm confident that it can stand up to some really hard knocks.
Not that I'll be subjecting it to any of that, though.
